6 Days Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti Safari

Early morning pick up from your hotel in Arusha for a drive to to Lake Manyara National Park takes about 4 hours. After having a picnic lunch in Manyara, you start a late afternoon game drive, which is the best time to view animals in this park. When you approach it from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the ground water forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, and on the escarpment, elephants stand in the shade. Other animals frequently seen are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and others. Overnight at the Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or the twiga lodge and campsite or a similar lodge / camp.

After breakfast leave lake manyara for Ngorongoro crater arriving with game drive at the crater rim thereafter you continue to descend 2000 ft (670m) into the crater floor for full afternoon crater tour to see black manned lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants and other grazing animals abound with picnic lunch served inside the park. Return to SIMBA Campsite or Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge or a similar lodge for dinner and overnight.

Morning hike in the Southern Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the elephant cave and waterfall. In the afternoon visiting the Iraqw tribe cultural centre in Karatu to learn how the tribe protected their cattle from Masai incursions using underground settlements. After full day activities overnight at SIMBA Campsite or Campsite near Karatu or a similar lodge.

After breakfast, Leave ngorongoro after breakfast for Serengeti arriving in time for lunch after lunch proceed for afternoon game drive in this unique park to see the many animals. Take your leisure while exploring this world heritage site, where earths largest concentration of plain game still roams free! In the late evening, overnight at the Serengeti Seronera Wildlife Camp or Four Seasons Serengeti Lodge or a similar lodge.

Morning and afternoon game drive in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge or campsite in the mid afternoon .The term ‘serengeti’ means endless plains in maasai language. In the central plains there are carnivores like, leopards, hyena and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of the wildebeest and zebras, which occurs between Serengeti and kenya’s maasai mara game reserve. Eagles, Flamingoes, duck, geese, vultures are among the birds that can be seen in the park, Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Seronera Wildlife Camp or Four Seasons Serengeti Lodge.

Early morning game drive later return to your lodge for Breakfast. After breakfast check out with a short game drive en-route off Serengeti National park and drive to Arusha, drop off at your respective hotel or Airport.
